Owners Mike & Doreen Allan prefer to anchor out, so natural ventilation is critical. On Jam Today, the angled house sides forced us to close the ports in even the lightest rain. Now we can leave ports open in almost all conditions at dock and at anchor. [19-FB]

Charlie Dawson from Chesterfield, VA, writes, "My Chaparral 240 is named after the three of us: me (Charles), Liza (wife) and Raymond (son) = Charlisaray. We spend most of the time on the James River, but my favorite place is Kerr Reservoir." [19-FB]
