He writes, "Nice product, good directions for installation."
Hunter 28.5
James McC installed a PortVisor™ over the porthole in the T cockpit of his Hunter 28.5. Water from the seat used to run off the seat (and the seat drip channel) onto the porthole. [13-R]
"Now I can leave the aft quarterberth port open and not let water running off the cockpit seat wash into the quarterberth cabin. And I am able to let light in - compared to the solid white visors I've seen."
Beneteau 461
John P's 'Okoboji Deux' in Cruz Bay, St John, USVI. 1999 Beneteau 461. [13R] [14R] [26R]
Devlin Boats
Lee S's Devlin. [13R]
Devlin Boats
Lee S found his boat, 'Red Schooner', on CraigsList a year ago spring and restored her over the past year. She was built by Devlin Boat 31 years ago in Tumwater, Washington. Lee is the office manager at Devlin Boats where the custom designed boats are made from plywood and epoxy. [13R]
"We have so much rain here in the Northwest that the PortVisors will be a real treat to have. I'm looking forward to using Red Schooner right through the winter. With the new PortVisors and the little woodstove I'm installing, rain and cold nights won't prevent cruising during our endless rainy season."
20' Flicka
John D from Cary, NC owns the smallest boat to have PortVisors — a 20' 1978 Flicka. What 'Iota' lacks in length, she makes up for in charm and the extraordinary sense of humor of her Captain. [13R]
